Who is Hidayet Simsek?

Hasvet A.Ş. Board Chairman Veterinarian Hidayet Şimşek was born in Isparta in 1979. He graduated from Şarkikaraağaç Veterinary Health Vocational High School and then continued his education at Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and graduated as a Veterinarian in 2000. He completed his master's degree at Antalya Bilim University in 2018 and graduated from the MBA program. After working as a civil servant at Ardahan Göle District Agriculture Directorate between 1996 and 2002, he worked as a Veterinary Physician teacher at the Veterinary High School between 2002 and 2004. He later left the civil service and worked as a clinician veterinarian and subsequently founded Hasvet Medikal Limited Company in 2009.

Hasvet Medikal was established in 2009 for the purpose of importing and selling medical devices, then in 2012, E-vet Yazılım A.Ş. and Safir Surgical Hand Tools Inc. companies were established in 2015 and started operating under Hasvet Inc.

While Hidayet Şimşek has signed many successes and projects for the development of his sector and animal husbandry in Turkey, the Datavet project he developed was deemed worthy of the Process Innovation Award in the competition organized within the scope of ATSO Innovation Year in 2017.

In addition to these successes today;

He has brought VINDINO in the field of industrial veterinary clinic equipment production, Pİ FARMA İlaç, FDN İlaç in the field of veterinary drug production, Fİ PETFOOD in the field of pet food production, VET-MİM in the field of turnkey veterinary clinic applications to the veterinary sector.

He continues to support continuous education in veterinary medicine with Hasvet Academy and Vettalks organizations.

Hasvet RATEM (Radiology Diagnostic and Training Center) which includes MR, CT, ultrasonography, lithotripsy, hemodiafiltration, EEG-EMG, pathology, endoscopy, radiography, laboratory and applied training areas has been established and offered to the service of our veterinarians.

Aiming to create added value by carrying its services outside its country, Hidayet Şimşek established Hasvet Baku International Animal Hospital, which has become a regional hospital in Azerbaijan, and laid the foundations of the veterinary health ecosystem he established in Turkey abroad. In addition, Hasvet has launched its Hessen-based Germany office in order to carry its ecosystem to Europe.

Hasvet A.Ş. today has an 85% market share in the veterinary medical field and a 95% market share in the veterinary software field in Turkey. Hasvet A.Ş. has ranked 40th and then 34th among the “100 Fastest Growing Companies in Turkey for 3 Consecutive Years” determined by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, which has 1,200,00 companies under its roof.

Married and father of two, Veterinarian Hidayet Şimşek is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pet Food Association (PETFA), a member of the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (VİSAD), a member of the Antalya Young Businessmen Association (ANTGİAD), and a representative of the Antalya City Council Health Working Group. He continues his investments to raise our sector above world standards both domestically and abroad.
